What is laser lipolysis?

Laser lipolysis is a minimally invasive procedure in which laser beams are introduced into the tissue via a small probe to "burst" fat cells and shorten the collagen fibers in the skin. In this way, it is possible to gently remove small, stubborn fat deposits and gently tighten the skin.

Who is an internal tissue lift suitable for?

An internal tissue lift is generally suitable for anyone who wants to counteract the normal signs of ageing of the skin or remove small pockets of fat that simply won't go away. The method is ideal for people who want a non-surgical yet effective treatment from which they can recover quickly. We would be happy to advise you in our practice in Stuttgart as to whether the treatment is suitable for you.

How does laser lipolysis work?

Laser lipolysis uses a special laser that is suitable for various applications. In this laser therapy, laser fibers are guided into the subcutaneous tissue or subcutaneous fatty tissue, where they unfold their effects. Firstly, the laser energy heats and destroys the fat cells, the remains of which are broken down and excreted by the body . Secondly, the heat from the laser stimulates the body's own collagen production, which makes the skin firmer and reduces small wrinkles.

Which parts of the body can be treated?

Laser lipolysis is possible in various areas. Typical applications include the face (lower eyelids, cheeks, chin, jaw and mouth area), the neck and stomach as well as the inside of the arms and legs.

What should I consider before laser lipolysis?

For an optimal result, it is important to know all possible medical influencing factors. Therefore, please inform us at an early stage about any acute or chronic illnesses, allergies and regular medication. You should also avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption so as not to impair the healing process.

How does laser lipolysis in Stuttgart work?

First, we conduct a detailed consultation with you. We want to find out what you are unhappy with and what you would like to change. After an examination, we will discuss together which treatment options are available and which of these options are most suitable for you. Of course, you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions about the treatment(s) at this point and at any later time.

Once you have decided on laser lipolysis in Stuttgart, we will inform you about the opportunities and risks of the procedure and explain the treatment process to you.

On the day of treatment, the treatment area is first cleaned, disinfected and locally anaesthetized. As soon as the anaesthetic has taken effect, thin laser fibers are inserted through tiny incisions in the skin, where they destroy the fat cells and stimulate the formation of new collagen.

You can leave the practice immediately after the treatment. Allow yourself some rest on this day and the next to recover and please follow the instructions for aftercare.

What needs to be considered after laser lipolysis?

Take things a little slower in the days following the treatment and avoid physical exertion and sport, especially in the first 1-2 days. Avoid nicotine and alcohol and avoid direct sunlight and heat. This also includes visiting the sauna and solarium.

Are there any risks associated with laser lipolysis?

Performed professionally, laser lipolysis is a very low-risk procedure. Nevertheless, there may be slight redness and swelling in the treatment area afterwards. However, these subside on their own after a short time, as does the temporary numbness that sometimes occurs.

How much does laser lipolysis cost in Stuttgart?

The cost of laser lipolysis depends on the area and extent of the treatment and can therefore vary from person to person. Of course, after the personal consultation and preliminary examination, you will receive an individual offer that includes not only your treatment plan, but also all costs incurred.

Frequently asked questions about laser lipolysis in Stuttgart

Unlike surgical methods of liposuction, laser lipolysis does not require general anesthesia. However, the relevant area is locally anaesthetized before the treatment so that you hardly feel the treatment itself.

Depending on the location and extent of the treatment, it may take a different amount of time before you are socially acceptable and able to exercise again. However, experience has shown that our patients are socially fit again after laser lipolysis at our clinic in Stuttgart after just 1-2 days and can then start doing light exercise again.

The first changes are visible immediately after the treatment. The effect of laser lipolysis unfolds over the next few days. The effect is supported by increased collagen production in the following weeks. Depending on your lifestyle and metabolism, the results can last for several years.

Compared to other treatments, laser lipolysis offers a number of advantages: Firstly, the minimally invasive treatment does not require general anesthesia, which means that the risks of the treatment are significantly lower than with surgical procedures. Secondly, the treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and there is very little - if any - downtime. In most cases, only one session is required to achieve the desired effects and the results usually last for several months.

Depending on the treatment area and scope, the treatment takes 1.5 to 4 hours.

Yes, laser lipolysis can be combined well with other aesthetic treatments, for example with injections of hyaluronic acid filler or botulinum toxin (Botox) to smooth out deeper wrinkles. For the removal of larger fat deposits, classic liposuction in combination with laser lipolysis can achieve optimal results. We will be happy to advise you on which treatment methods are best suited to your wishes.

In principle, there must be no open wounds or skin injuries in the treatment area. Laser lipolysis should not be performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Treatment is also not recommended in the case of severe cardiovascular diseases, skin diseases, certain acute or chronic diseases such as immune disorders, cancer or uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders or epilepsy.
